Welcome to OTHERWORLD… an unofficial pitstop for weary space travelers and a popular family-friendly camping ground!

Hi, welcome to otherworld. This is a Quartz installation that exposes part of my private Obsidian vault online, because why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (here are some better reasons). Here you’ll find a collection of technical notes I’ve accumulated over the years from my classes at UPenn, textbooks, and other resources.

My goal isn’t to recreate Wikipedia or rewrite my textbooks. That stuff is publicly accessible and already exists. However, I often come up with a different interpretation than official resources that makes more sense in my head. The point of these notes is to capture these deviations so I won’t forget them. My mind works differently from yours, after all.

Other reasons a note may exist:

  • Sometimes I want to collect info together from many places.
  • Having a note for a topic allows me to link to it in the future. This is Obsidian’s most powerful feature.

Most of the time, though, it’s because some lectures are not recorded and if I don’t write down the shit the professor says then I will fail the exam. Half of the notes here are probably just lecture slides. Don’t expect much.

Since this serves me first and foremost, stuff may be confusing (or contain private links). Some notes are unfinished or incoherent. I don’t claim 100% correctness either. Basically, take everything here with a grain of salt. But hey, if in some universe any of this somehow helps you out, then I would be happy! Then the effort in putting any of this online would have been worth it, I think.

If you’re lost, try looking at notes by their tags instead. Thanks for visiting!
